A considered way
to explain the numbers.

Marius Jasevicius presents data-visualization design from Dallas, Texas. The work shown here is concerned with visual explanations: comparisons, sequences and the supporting context needed to read them.

A convincing chart is not a substitute for reliable data. The design task is to give supplied material a useful shape, make labels intelligible and keep a visual hierarchy consistent. Decisions about units, definitions and interpretation belong in the brief.

The portfolio uses original fictional datasets so those decisions can be examined directly. Actual reports and dashboards need their own factual inputs, environment, permissions and review process.
